Experienced Chef de Partie with Responsibility (m/f/x)

Tâches

The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while overseeing the activities of the hot kitchen and ensuring quality, cleanliness, and safety.

  • Before Service:
    • Prepare mise en place for hot dishes on the daily menu and à la carte options.
    • Give instructions to the kitchen assistants for preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
    • Prepare hot food, cook meat, fish, and poultry.
  • During Service:
    • Prepare and finish hot dishes according to customer orders.
    • Arrange and garnish plates, ensuring correct portion sizes.
    • Assist colleagues during peak times.
  • After Service:
    • Clean and organize the hot kitchen area.
    • Check the quality and freshness of products.
    • Manage the storage and hygienic preservation of food.
    • Check stock and communicate orders to the sous-chef or head chef.
  • Physical and Environmental Description of the Position: In performing their duties, the worker must implement a number of skills or activities required for the position of Chef de Partie at Bolsa.
  • The working conditions require the following skills and abilities:
    • Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and handle objects.
    • Ability to quickly understand and analyze situations.
    • Ability to take initiative, work in a team, and manage stress.
    • Ability to withstand noise, heat, and prolonged physical effort.

Profil

  • We are looking for a motivated and experienced Chef de Partie (m/f/x) for a full-time position (38 hours/week) in our establishments located in central Brussels.
  • Profile Required:
    • Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience.
    • Motivated, flexible, and a good team player.
    • Proficiency in English is required.
    • Un diplôme CESS (Certificat d’Enseignement Secondaire Supérieur) n'est pas requis.

Horaires de travail

Variable working hours with split shifts: Tuesday to Sunday.
