’t Werftje in Zeebrugge-Mijn is a historic restaurant specializing in seafood, famous for its shrimp croquettes and seafood platters. Founded in 1905, it offers a welcoming and authentic and warm atmosphere, makes it a must-visit spot on the Belgian coast ! For the first time, ’t Werftje is docking in Antwerp, in a new food market, with an exclusive street food menu !

As an “Assitant Manager” your responsibilities :

• Supervise a team (commis / students)
• Assist in the development of work schedules
• Verify the quality and accuracy of received goods
• Conduct regular inventories
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures
• Oversee the proper setup and organization of workstations
• Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of services
• Monitor and maintain the quality of dishes
• Enforce hygiene and safety regulations
• Work in various kitchen stations and cash-register
• Open and close the premises in accordance with operational procedures
• Provide daily reports on service performance and any issues encountered
• Demonstrate proactivity by suggesting improvements to operational processes
• Contribute to team performance evaluations

• Reliable, motivated, autonomous, dynamic, punctual, and organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills NL/EN (FR is a must but not mandatory)
• Minimum of 1 year of continuous experience in the hospitality industry (Horeca)
• Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset

• Full-time
• 3 to 5 working days per week
• 2 to 4 days off per week with a minimum of 2 consecutive days off and every other weekend off

• Meal voucher 7€ per working day (monizze)
